Well, you missed it. The Heartland Idol contest is over for this year, and the ones of you who didn't make it down to the Circle to watch have no idea what great entertainment you missed. I am sure there are some who would like to hang the judges up by their toe nails for the way the judging went. But I have to admit I was rooting for Christopher Allen the whole time. Christopher had the whole package: voice, poise, and super stage presence. I also have to give it to Shawn Knowles for his stage presence. To me that is what entertainment is all about, not just being able to sing. No matter how great a voice a person has if the person bores me they have lost me. ...more
