You, the volunteers, have been the strength of our organization since its beginnings a few short years ago. Without your support, many would have waited seemingly endless lengths of time, just to have a roof repaired after the hurricanes, or a wheelchair ramp installed merely to be able to get outside into the fresh air or see a doctor. You have made a difference, a very big difference. You have helped Rebuilding Together serve the needs of over 300 homeowners since 2004; people without the means to keep their homes safe and sound, people without limbs and the simple ability to move about, disabled veterans, and elderly people who can't manage so many basic tasks. ...more
