I think the Tampa Theatre and I came into being the same year. Maybe I haven't held up as well, but it still gives me a thrill to go there and sit in the audience waiting for that glorious organ to come rising up from the stage, with the most wonderful music filling the hall. After reading the article about U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez and his efforts to raise money for the 2010 election, I have come up with a suggestion for him and all other politicians with the same problem. Why don't they just focus on doing a good job now. If they were to do the job of serving the people successfully, then they would be re-elected no matter how much money they have or don't have.
