SEBRING – Three newcomers to the area have submitted entries for the 2007 Fall Parade of Homes sponsored by the Highlands County Builders Association. The event will run from Oct. 19 – 28. Weekday hours will be noon to 5 p.m., while Saturday the homes will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. There are a total of 26 homes in the parade. Heartland Family Homes, Ping Homes Builder and DLF Construction will each have one entry in the competition. All three builders' entries are in Lake Placid. ...more
