The Shriners of the Highlands Shrine Club, and Shriners everywhere, would like to thank all the businesses and people who contributed to our Hospital Days Crusade on Nov. 16 and 17. Monies collected once each year go to support The Shriners children's hospitals around the country and in Mexico and Canada. At this time of year we are bombarded by numerous health and charitable agencies looking for donations. We certainly can't afford to give to every one of them. We have people in our own county who need our help and a small donation from the good people of Highlands County would certainly help. ...more
