Alonso High senior baseball player Tyler Ding has verbally committed to the University of Tampa, Ravens coach Landy Faedo said Tuesday. Ding, Alonso's starting second baseman, had a huge junior season, hitting .476 with eight doubles, two home runs, 26 RBIs, 31 runs scored and 23 stolen bases for the Class 6A state champion Ravens.
