Fifth generation Floridian Susan Staton, a certified dance instructor for 15 years, began dancing at age 3. She's been at the Red Rose Inn and Suites for four years, teaching ballroom and Latin dance to all ages, in group and private lessons. Noon Rotary tapped into her talent for the last two years for its annual fundraiser, Dancing with the Locals. She has taught 10 local couples who have never danced before and they will showcase their talents at the 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 fundraiser at the Red Rose Ballroom. ...more

The Tampa Downtown Rotary recently presented a check for $3,500 to the Wheels of Success program for Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties.
