AVON PARK — Jose Gonzales doesn't know who could have spray painted racial slurs on his house and set fire to his garage and car. "I can't sleep," he said Monday afternoon. "I don't know who did this." State Fire Marshal Public Information Officer Kevin Shireman said the fire was intentionally set and a cash reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information. Authorities are investigating the death of a man who jumped off the Bayside Bridge Saturday afternoon. Motorists reported seeing the man leave his parked vehicle in the northbound span and jump into the water around noon, authorities said. A Clearwater Fire and Rescue diver found the man within 10 minutes. The diver brought the man onboard a rescue vessel and took him to Courtney Campbell Beach, where he was pronounced dead, said Elizabeth Daly-Watts, public information officer for Clearwater Fire and Rescue. SEBRING — The Highlands County Sheriff's Office announced Friday that a grand jury indicted two more suspects in the Bryan Edward "Red" Fanning arson, kidnapping and murder case, bringing the total number of suspects to four. The grand jury found there was probable cause to indict Terrence Jerome "TJ" Barnett, 26, of Frostproof and Leeann Parker, 25, of Lake Wales, who were charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, first-degree arson and robbery.
