SEBRING — The Sebring High School girls golf team played well in Tuesday's Class 2A-Region 3 tournament at Sebring Golf Club. But their score of 351 wasn't good enough to qualify for next week's state tournament. Lake Howell, two-time defending state champion, won the nine-team competition with a four-person score of 321, while Olympia placed second and earned a berth at state with a 337. ...more

The Blue Streaks posted an impressive 42-7 record and won last week's Class 2A-District 9 golf tournament by 13 shots.
