Since you have had all kinds of writers sending thank you letters I thought I would add my thanks to Mr. Bush: For lying to us about WMD that Iraq had so you and your ilk could go to war and make certain people wealthy. For giving all those tax breaks to the wealthy and lying to us how a trickle down economy would work for me. For letting all those good jobs run offshore to make jobs for the Asians and Mexicans. The other day, the New York Times ran a story of a thinly veiled attempt to insult our president. It told how in San Francisco the Presidential Memorial Commission intended to ask voters to change the name of a water treatment plant to the "George W. Bush Sewage Plant." Apparently the plan was "hatched in a bar" and is proposed as "an appropriate honor for a truly unique president." ...more

It would be nice if the president could read this, to let him know about my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren. Why is there not going to be any money for them to go to the hospital when they get sick? All because of the president. They all have theirs up in Washington, D.C. If they have free insurance, then why can't my grandchildren and great- grandchildren have it, too? Or maybe it's because their dad and mom don't not make the money like they do in the Senate. The ones in the Senate can give themselves a $4,000 raise whenever they want. Maybe if you did not give yourselves raises in there, then you would be able to help us. That is what you are there for. I was doing good until you took my pension away from me. I am a disabled Korean Veteran, or did you forget about the ones who died for you at the time? Look what you did for all of us who went over there and came home; now there isn't any health insurance for our grandchildren, and no jobs for us. They are all overseas now. I need help! ...more
