SEBRING — The talented foursome of Don Spires, Jeff Spires, Danny Sassin and Smokey Smiling made some sweet music in Saturday's Sebring High School Band Booster golf tournament at Sebring Golf Club. The group combined to shoot an 18-hole net score of 41 to win the scramble format event, which was a fundraiser for the Sebring High band. Joe DeCerbo, Al Iorinelli, Tony Galka and Alvin Walters placed second in the First Flight with a 45.75, while Dick White, Karen White, Mark White and Tony Mordenga finished third with a 47. ...more

Thursday Music Showcase To See Pink For Benefit This month, Music Showcase at 402 Oakfield Drive, Brandon, will get in the fundraising spirit for breast cancer research. The center will hold a fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, accepting donations and selling pink ribbons, colorful ribbon cards, pink cupcakes, pink lemonade smoothies and pink M&M cookies.
