Tarpon Springs does not have a sister in the Bahamas but it has roots in the economy and culture of the island chain. The city acquired a $4,975 Florida Humanities Council grant to create an exhibit at the Tarpon Springs Heritage Center, "The Greek Communities of the Bahamas and Tarpon Springs: An Intertwined History." While babies don't come with instruction manuals, the three-hour course on March 7 probably is the next best thing.
