A first-year program at a second-year school, the Longhorns simply hoped to compete in their University of Texas-inspired uniforms this season, let alone pick up a victory or two. THE DIFFERENCE: With four minutes left in the first half, Lake Placid junior Zack Campbell picked off a pass from quarterback Andrew Burdick and ran it 36 yards to the Lennard 40-yard line. On the tackle, Longhorn defenders caused a fumble, and the Longhorns proceeded with a drive that was capped by a 11-yard touchdown catch by Blake Kennedy from Burdick to increase Lennard's lead to 21-0 with 46 seconds before halftime. ...more
