A few months ago, we were all up in arms about the price of gas, trying to cut down the number of miles we had to drive. That uproar has died away. Now gas prices are creeping up again. I would like to suggest that the people responsible for new roadways in Highlands County consider establishing a more direct route between Placid Lakes and the Leisure Lakes areas.
