Tickets for the NFL Experience, an interactive fan festival the week leading up to the Super Bowl, go on sale Wednesday. The NFL Experience opens Jan. 24. Events will be in the south parking lot of Raymond James Stadium, site of Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1. It will be closed Jan. 26-27, then will reopen until game day. SEBRING — A fraction of 60,000 expected motorcycle riders attended the Run for the Heartland's opening ceremonies Friday morning, but organizers, merchants and early visitors said the party will really get jumping today. The three-day event lasts through Sunday. Most events are free and open to the public. Last year, local police estimated attendance at 30,000 people and organizers expect twice as many guests this year. ...more

SEBRING — Riders are revving up their motorcycles for this weekend's Run to the Heartland. Lora Todd, marketing director for Run to the Heartland, said she estimates the attendance will be about 60,000 for the three-day event, hosted by Heartland Riders Association. This year the event is the official Southeast Regional Convention for the American Motorcyclist Association, which generates a lot of additional traffic, Todd said. ...more
