I live in a deed-restricted town home community and have a neighbor who thinks the county's right of way is her personal property. She will not allow me to put out my trash bags for pickup and throws my garbage and yard waste onto my driveway when I do. The association, various police officers, and waste removal service representatives have all spoken to her about this, and yet she refuses to allow me to utilize this service area. Sunset Park Homeowners Association President Marlin Anderson, left, presented Coleman Middle School Principal Michael Hoskinson with a $300 check on May 26. The check was a donation from the homeowners' association to help defray expenses associated with grounds improvements at the school's track area, which the community uses when school is not in session. Hoskinson plans to use the money to buy a permanent water fountain, which he hopes will help reduce the number of water bottles left on the campus. ...more
