So everyone knows President George Bush's popularity these days is lower than any president in history, according to polls. Even fellow Republicans have little good to say about his presidency. It's clear that the vast majority of Americans believe he made a grievous mistake by going to war in Iraq. Florida's U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez announced this week that he won't seek a second term. His announcement left a lot of political players scrambling to position themselves for the prized seat. We believe whomever lands his seat in 2010 will be an improvement over Martinez. ...more
