What Has County Come To? So, the witch hunt actually begins. Interim County Administrator Larry Jennings has suspended 10-year veteran Human Resources Director Barbara Dupre for five days without pay for making "unsubstantiated accusations" against Diane Rowden. Unsubstantiated. Not disproved. I thought we had freedom of speech in this country? We may never find out who truly is responsible for breaking into Barbara's office, but I bet Jay Rowden could shed some light on this. Barbara Dupre can no longer participate in the selection of our next county administrator, just as Diane Rowden wanted in the first place. Isn't it strange how that worked out? By the way, what is Jay Rowden's position within the Democratic Party? ...more

A little effort in research on his part would have enlightened him to the following facts: Mr. Ludacer suggests: "They have even usurped the name 'American' as if their party is the only one entitled to be so considered." There are four minor political parties registered in Florida with the word American in them. Usurped is defined as to seize and hold by force or without legal authority. ...more

It appears to some that the United States government and its leaders are trying to take over the whole Earth with democracy in each and every country and enforce that form of government by force if necessary and ignore the sovereignty of nations. Religion has and likely will always be the major cause of dissension between governments and countries and individuals. The majority of mankind cannot accept a belief that does not include the probability of a life or existence after death. Achieving that existence is the difference between every religion. Each believes theirs is the only way to get there. ...more
