Nazdar, Happy Valentine's Day. Also, this month is African-American Month. On Nov. 2, 2009, Pvt. Kendall Hubert joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Last week, he was home on his first 10-day leave, visiting friends and family. Kendall's mom and stepdad are Niki, our postmistress, and Dave Levesque. Nazdar, There will be a fish dinner on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church between Ayers Road and County Line Road from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Take-outs will be available. The church will serve fried or baked fish, parsley potatoes, vegetables, desserts, and a beverage. The cost is $7 a plate for adults and $3 for 12 and under. First on deck is a pork dinner at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on U.S. 41 at 11:45 a.m. Roast pork, vegetables, parsley potatoes, salad, dessert and beverage are on the menu - all for $7 per adult and $3 for children under 12 years of age.
