Heartland Horses and Handicapped, Inc. would like to thank everyone for a successful Denim and Diamonds Gala. Wow, what a night! It was truly a night to remember. The 3rd annual Denim and Diamonds Gala to benefit Heartland Horses and Handicapped, Inc. was a great success. Guests from the Heartland enjoyed a night of good music, great food, lots of prizes and a strong spirit of participation in helping dreams last a lifetime. The theme of the evening was dreams and how all of us can name a few, but how at Heartland Horses we work daily with those who dream of trying something new, of touching and feeling. Our participants dream of independence, freedom and dignity. The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 69 and Florida Hospital wish to thank all of the ladies who brought baked goods to the bake sale held on Sept. 19 at the hospital to benefit the Josh Puppy Program. The Josh Puppy is a stuffed soft plush golden retriever that comes with a dog house and a book titled "I'll be okay." The Josh Puppy is given to every sick child from ages 1-12 years old. ...more
