So much for the hybrid football plan. Because of extensive travel within the plan, the Florida High School Athletic Association made a unanimous decision to change back to a 16-district format for each classification. Thus, only the district champion and runner-up will advance to the postseason. These assignments go into effect fcor the 2009 football season. ...more
