Turner also scored from 30 yards as the Falcons built a 24-3 halftime lead. The Redskins looked down and out, losing RB Clinton Portis to an apparent concussion, and Hall lost his cool after LaRon Landry delivered a late hit to Atlanta QB Matt Ryan along the Falcons sideline. eto running back Jeremy Deering's scholarship offers are well into double digits. Deering received his 12th on Friday. The University of Illinois is the latest Division I program to make him an offer. Illinois becomes the fourth Big Ten school vying for Deering. The others are Michigan, Ohio State and Purdue. Other schools that have offered scholarships include Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse and UCF. Leto football players will honored at a signing ceremony on Friday. Ken McAllister and Adolfo Navarro will both sign with Erie Community College. McAllister, a starting defensive end whose brother Demonte signed with FSU, was second on the team with three sacks. He also had 42 tackles last season. Navarro was the Falcons second-leading receiver with 12 receptions for 199 yards and 1 touchdown. ...more

Baseball: Dunedin at Tarpon Springs – 7 p.m. The Spongers will be looking to avenge a 4-2 loss handed to them by Dunedin on Feb. 27.
