The astronauts orbit the earth in diapers, or as in the case of one astronaut, drive 1,000 miles in one. Caregivers of quadriplegics or paraplegics know the frailties of store-bought diapers, sometimes failing from one room to another. After eight years of care-giving under these circumstances it gets stressful. Maybe I am ignorant of something better on the market. If so please tell me. About every six months the population of the U.S. increases about as much as the population of Tallahassee. Who are these hundreds of thousands of new citizens? They are newborns, children of illegal aliens born in the United States - birthright citizens, "anchor babies" - not illegal aliens. For some people, potty training is a breeze. I once met a mom who told me that her daughter just decided at 20 months that she wanted to go on the potty and that was it. I think I had a more typical experience. I had to hunker down for a full week until my eldest would go on the potty, and it took a couple more weeks to get her out of diapers during the day, followed by a month or two before she could wake up dry.
