Dog lovers are invited to participate in Stride for Strays, a one-mile pet walk on Oct. 13 to benefit the Animal Coalition of Tampa. The event is from 9 a.m. to noon at Al Lopez Park, 4900 N. SEBRING — Riders are revving up their motorcycles for this weekend's Run to the Heartland. Lora Todd, marketing director for Run to the Heartland, said she estimates the attendance will be about 60,000 for the three-day event, hosted by Heartland Riders Association.
