The Patriot Act has circumvented our basic rights. I personally have experienced the hand of the government from the local to the federal level. I for one have worked my butt off to accomplish my goals through legal means. My own government has treated me with less respect than that afforded to illegal immigrants or newly arrived Cubans. I am waiting for them to knock my door down claiming I am a terrorist or I am plotting to overthrow.
