Still trying to solve the problem of creating more space for judicial needs, county commissioners Tuesday will consider spending an estimated $4.5 million to buy property formerly used by Register Chevrolet at 375 South Broad St. The 5-acre property has four buildings on-site totaling 38,000 square feet. SEBRING — A traffic signal will be added to the intersection of Scenic Highway and Sebring Parkway within six months. Sebring City Council approved at Tuesday's meeting spending $75,000 for the $150,000 project. Ramon Gavarrete, county engineer, said the county has been considering a signal at the intersection since the Parkway opened in 2002.
