LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid football team faces a tough road test this week as the Green Dragons hope to reverse course and steal a victory from Class 2A-District 5 foe St. Pete Catholic. RUSKIN — The Lennard football team didn't have high expectations heading into this season. A first-year program at a second-year school, the Longhorns simply hoped to compete in their University of Texas-inspired uniforms this season, let alone pick up a victory or two.
