We have different opinions about why our economy is in such a bad state, but it behooves each of us to take our individual inventory. It seems to me, when we go in debt, we are using what belongs to someone else. There are things that we need the use of credit for, but even then, it is our responsibility to use common sense and not over indulge. Sheriff Benton's supporters in the past have submitted negative comments regarding Ron Grimming's qualifications and length of residency in this county. He certainly is a very qualified candidate when considering his administrative experience as former director of the Florida Highway Patrol and former deputy director of the Illinois State Police. However, it is the negative comments regarding his length of residency that I take issue with. It's fun to read all the different people writing about the change in the political playing field. Oh my gosh! A woman as vice president who is a mother, activist, as well as a common sense person? They will attempt to make her look foolish, stupid and put anything out there that could discredit her in any way shape or form. After all, this is the dirty politics that are being played today with both sides.
