Dear Abby: My husband "William" and I have been married 32 years. I love him dearly, but his health is poor. William is only 55, has had five heart attacks and has three stents in his heart. It's sad when those we entrust with protecting the public are accused of wrongdoing. It happens occasionally, and now it has happened in Avon Park. We don't know if the officers are innocent or guilty, but their alleged crimes send shivers down the spines of the public, and probably fellow law enforcement professionals as well. ...more
