Integrity is the most important quality of any human being to possess, especially politicians. Trust of the people is imperative! As a former mayor and city councilman for the city of Sebring and a member of the sheriff's rescue unit, I know how important it is to have a leader that you can trust. I have been trying to get the city of Sebring to correct our street signs for over a year. We are a street, and the year-old signs say we are an avenue. We are the only place around where an avenue crosses an avenue. I cannot get the city to get off their seats, but I recall the pictures of King Carl Cool in your paper with real street signs wasted at taxpayers' expense, saying "Carl Cool Avenue." What a crock! ...more
