A well-known Tampa musician has ventured into the restaurant business for a second time with a pub that has been around more than 25 years. Johnny G. Lyon of the Johnny G. Lyon Band, known as JGLB, has reopened The Proud Lion Pub, 124 W. Fletcher Ave, which he plans to be home base for the rock 'n' rollers. It's been a quick road to bankruptcy for one Tampa Mexican grill, Tijuana Iguana. The limited liability company behind Tijuana Iguana, called 2520 North Tampa LLC, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week. Chapter 11 allows a company to reorganize its finances while protected from creditors. According to state corporation records, the company incorporated in August. ...more
