To the kind gentleman at the Village Inn on Thursday, Jan. 15, thank you for buying our breakfast. On Thursday, a group of us went to breakfast at the Village Inn before school. When our breakfast arrived, we said a prayer and got down to the business of eating and discussing our upcoming finals, and sports of course. As we were finishing, this gentleman came up to our table and took our bills. He indicated that he was proud of us and our conduct and he wanted to pay our bills. SEBRING — The idea is to help children learn about financial concepts, but adults — perhaps lots of them — could also benefit from the knowledge from workshops dealing with money. A parent workshop on "The ABCs of Teaching Your Kids About Money" was held last Tuesday at the Highlands County YMCA.
