LAKE PLACID A Lake Placid man was free on $1,500 bail Friday after he was stopped by Lake Placid Police for a defective brake light and it was discovered the Toyota Camry he was driving was stolen from West Palm Beach. Police also discovered marijuana hidden in a Barbasol shaving cream can with a false bottom, according to the arrest report. David Jonathan Adams, 20, of 1239 County Road 29, was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and grand theft auto. A rear male passenger seen fidgeting about where the shaving cream can was found was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams.
