AVON PARK — A Lake Placid man was arrested Tuesday, accused of trying to kill his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend during an argument, while she was holding their baby girl. Coy Lee Bellamy Jr., 20, of 109 Bonnie Road, was charged by Avon Park police with attempted murder (with a knife) domestic violence related.
