Lake Wales ace pitcher Justin Shafer limited Sebring to three hits and the Highlanders offense exploded in a 13-0 win over the Blue Streaks on Thursday night.
Sebring senior hurler Josh Chavis started and took the loss as Lake Wales scored six runs in his three innings of work, only four were earned, as the Blue Streaks defense committed a pair of costly errors.
Sebring's three hits were by Jesse Baker, Riley McKenna and Gus Williams.
The Blue Streaks used four pitchers in the loss, which was punctuated by a grand slam by the Highlanders.
Sebring, which competes in Class 5A-District 5, played at Hardee in a non-district contest on Friday night in Wauchula.
