The Avon Park girls basketball team finished the regular season on a high note with a convincing 53-22 win over Frostproof on Monday night.
Johnequa Perry and Beonca Godfrey scored a team-high 10 points and Daija Barrett added nine points as the Red Devils broke out to a big lead and cruised to the non-district win.
Avon Park hosts the Class 4A-District 10 tournament, which begins on Monday in the Red Devil gym.
