In spite of the heat, humidity and breezy conditions, the Orange Blossom Pregnancy Care Center golf tournament attracted a nice field on Saturday at the always demanding Highlands Ridge North golf course.
The one-day, 18-hole, four-person scramble format had 68 players and when all the eagles and birdies were totaled up, the talented team of Dr. Dale Anderson, Charlie Anderson, Dr. Kye Pahk and Phil Raymond finished first in the Net division with a score of 51.
Second place in the Net division went to the foursome of Ben Hill, Ron Kamanski, Taft Green and Ray Cameron which shot a fine 52.
Proceeds from the event went to the Avon Park and Wauchula Pregnancy Care Centers.
