The Melbourne Central Catholic volleyball team defeated Lake Placid 25-16, 14-25, 25-16, 25-20 in a Class 3A regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at LPHS.
Melborne's Rachel Priester had a game high 21 kills, three blocks and three aces in leading the Hustlers to a four-game win.
Lake Placid senior Kaneisha Hamilton had four kills and three aces during the second game, where the Green Dragons stormed out to a 16-5 advantage to tie the match at a game a piece, but the Hustlers had too much firepower down the stretch as they advance to the regional semifinals.
