BARTOW - Sebring quarterback Matt Grubb connected on a 46-yard pass with 33.6 seconds left to bring the Sebring football team within striking distance for a tying score, but the Bartow defense prevailed and pulled off a 14-7 victory over the Blue Streaks on Friday during a spring game at Bartow High School.

JC Howard had a 23-yard interception return for Sebring's lone score midway through the fourth quarter, but a 14-0 halftime deficit was too much for the Streaks to overcome.
