OKEECHOBEE - Timmy Farrell hit two home runs, including a three-run walk off bomb into center field to lift Okeechobee to a 13-1 win over the Sebring All-Stars in the Dixie Boys (age 14) District 8 tournament at Okeechobee Sports Complex on Thursday night.
The championship final was delay over five hours due to a huge thunderstorm that paved a way through Okeechobee just before the start of the final.
Okeechobee hit three home runs in the game and never looked back after taking a 2-0 lead in the first, as the host team has eliminated Sebring the past two years.
