OKEECHOBEE --

OKEECHOBEE - Relentless rain forced officials to postpone the 13-year-old and 14-year-old Dixie District 8 baseball tournaments until Wednesday.

The 13-year-old championship game between Sebring and Okeechobee has been re-scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. Both teams have already earned a trip to the state tournament, which will be held in Marianna later this month.

The 14-year-old game between Sebring and Clewiston is also set for Wednesday, time TBD. The winner of that game will face Okeechobee in the District 8 final, which will take place 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
