LAKELAND - McKeel Academy had three players score in double figures and the Lake Placid defense couldn't hold on Thursday night as the Wildcats downed the Green Dragons 68-37 in the semifinals of the Class 3A-District 10 tournament at McKeel Academy, ending Lake Placid's season.
Keneisha Hamilton led the Dragons with 12 points, but the heighth and depth of the Wildcat bench proved decisive in the second half.
McKeel will play Frostproof in Friday's final.
