ARCADIA - Sammie Lower was 4 for 4 with two doubles and four RBI on Tuesday as the Sebring softball team advanced to the Class 4A-District 10 semifinals with an 11-8 victory over Hardee.

The Blue Streaks will face arch-rival Avon Park on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with a state berth on the line.

Niki Helms struck out eight and gave up three runs on 10 hits to the sixth-seeded Wildcats, and the Sebring defense allowed two errors in the sixth inning to keep the game in reach, but 13 Blue Streak hits sent them into the next round.
