SEBRING 31, JENSEN BEACH 17
SEBRING - Senior tailback T.J. Williams rushed 35 times for 222 yards, scored three touchdowns and threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Sam Robinson to lead Sebring to a 31-17 homecoming win over Jensen Beach on Friday night at Firemen's Field.
The win improved the Class 3A Blue Streaks to 3-2 on the season, while the Class 4A Falcons dropped to 0-5. Sebring led 19-10 at the half and sealed the win when quarterback Steven Fortner hooked up with Robinson for a 74-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter.
Jensen Beach quarterback John Glenn completed 11-of-26 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns, but the sophomore signal-caller suffered three second-half interceptions to thwart any hopes of a Falcon comeback.
