Rat Patrol Band to play at Duffer's

SEBRING - The Rat Patrol Band will play at Duffer's Sports Grille on Sept. 4.

Cody Daniels and C.J. Hughes will bring the four-man band back to the stage this Labor Day weekend to play a variety of rock, country and Top 40s tunes. The band will play from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no cover charge.

Free movie to be shown at AP Library

AVON PARK - "The Hospital" will be shown at the Avon Park Library at 2 p.m. Sept. 4. The library is located at 100 N. Museum Ave.

There will be no movies at the Sebring Public Library and Lake Placid Memorial Library in September and October. The libraries said they will be on "hiatus" during those two months.
