The following people were booked Tuesday, March 16 into the Highlands County Jail:

Troy Leon Gordon, 22, of Avon Park, was recommitted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for battery.

Jessica Hunt, 36, of 9623 Ruby Lane, Sebring, on a Broward County warrant charging violation of probation in reference to aggravated battery with intent to harm.

Sergio Palacios, 40, of 316 Spruce St., Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to jail for driving under the influence, second or third offense.

Armando Ramon Perez, 48, of 724 Triumph Drive, Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to false imprisonment.

Keith Maurice Powell, 46, of 169 Crumity St., Lake Placid, was recommitted and sentenced to 60 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Bobbi Lynn Smith, 48, of 5925 Glens Court, Sebring, on a warrant charging possession of drug paraphernalia.
