Open house

To appreciate the benefits of volunteers, one had to be present at the Tomoka Heights open house.

Community residents manned the gate house, the clubhouse and the 13 homes opened for viewing. Who better to show off the community than those living here, and the welcome given to visitors who took the time to come to the open house was phenomenal.

I would like to extend a warm thank you to the Tomoka volunteers for their generosity.

Tomoka Heights chose to manage itself with volunteers after the developer turned the community over to the residents. Having been involved with the community for some 20 years I would say that the community should be proud of what has been accomplished by the many, many hours donated by the volunteers.

To those visitors that came to the open house, I would hope that you will tell your friends about our charming community.

Once again, many thanks to our wonderful volunteers. You are great and all of your efforts and hard work are much appreciated, not only for the success of the open house but for all that you do to make Tomoka Heights the community that it is.
