The Highlands Gator Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship to five qualified Highlands County students who plan to attend the University of Florida for the first time in 2010.
Applications are available now in the counseling office at the high schools in Highlands County and the financial aid office at South Florida Community College.
Applications must be submitted by March 26. Scholarships will be awarded in May.
