The following people were booked Wednesday, March 10 into the Highlands County Jail:
Christopher Wayne Dyer, 22, of 114 S. Central Ave., Avon Park, on a warrant charging grand theft of a firearm.
Lapetra Shonic Evans, 20, of 4524 Mackeral Drive, Sebring, was recommitted and sentenced to four days in jail for petty theft, first offense.
Robert Lynn Fox, 37, of Kissimmee, on a charge of driving while license is suspended, habitual offender.
Steven Grilo, 36, of 3940 Lakeview Drive, Sebring, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusing to submit to a DUI test and possession of cocaine.
