The following people were booked Thursday, Feb. 25 into the Highlands County Jail:

David Wesley Harrell, 37, of Wauchula, on charges of possession of a police scanner during a commission of a crime and lewd/lascivious behavior with a victim less than 16 years of age.

Lance C. Harris, 48, of 5216 Roanoak, Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Akousta Montoya Jackson, 34, of 4707 Fourth St., Sebring, on a warrant charging violation of probation in reference to possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

The following people were booked Friday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 28 into the Highlands County Jail:

Steven Michael Bussiere, 31, of Sarasota, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to arson and willful damage of a dwelling.

Earl Glenn Butler, 30, of Memorial Drive, Avon Park, on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license is suspended or revoked, first offense.

Tiquan Lamar Faniel, 25, of Lakeland, on a writ of bodily attachment charging non support of children or spouse.

Misty Lee Lorenz, 44, on warrants charging battery on a pregnant woman and domestic battery.

John Michael McConniel, 20, of Avon Park, on charges of obstructing justice and battery.

Michael Shane McConniel, 27, of 313 N. Franklin St., Sebring, on a warrant charging possession of methamphetamine.

Michael Stephen Planeta, 47, of Lake Placid, on two counts of cruelty toward a child.

The following people were booked Monday, March 1 into the Highlands County Jail:

Anthony Thomas Cauley, 25, of 2100 Jackson Heights Drive, Sebring, as recommitted and sentenced to 6 days in jail for driving while license is suspended or revoked, second offense

Melissa Ashley Crawford, 26, of Fort Meade, on a warrant charging felony petty theft.

Antonio Devalle, 40, of Winter Haven, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to possession of cocaine, grand theft of a motor vehicle and grand theft.

Crystal Lynn McLinton, 25, of 2832 Lake Josephine Drive, was recommitted and sentenced to 10 days in jail for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Jennifer Lynn Peck, 29, of Frostproof, was recommitted and sentenced to 20 days in jail for violation of probation in reference to battery.

Julian Corey Risech, 20, of Tallahassee, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to grand theft and burglary of a structure.

D'Kwon Verriel Robinson, 29, of Sebring, on warrants charging violation of probation in reference to simple battery and criminal mischief.

Andrew Christopher Zwaan, 19, of Sebring, on a warrant charging child abuse.
